We're just waiting for the parts to show up from the supplier to be able to box them up and have them available for shipping. The on-the-shelf date is listed as 4/15 due to the lead time qouted by the supplier.

UPDATE: The S13 engine mounts are being shipped out for plating today.

We expect to be able to swap out engine brackets for customers probably at least a couple days earlier than expected.

WOOT!

Glad you asked Scofield,

For those of you who purchased kit part # 12654HKR (which was determined after the fact to only pertain to S14 cars only), and have an S14, you need to call our tech line at 270 781 9741 and tell them you would like to exchange your front engine mount plates for the S13 variant kit that we just released, which is part # 12648HKR. You won't need to worry about shipping your trans crossmembers back as they work with S13 and S14 both.

The tech on the phone will issue you an RMA number which means UPS will come and pick up your old engine mount plates for the S14. When we receive the old ones in the mail we'll ship out your new S13 mounts as replacements.

We just received product the other day and are prepared to start taking calls on this today.

I genuinely want to thank those of you who have been waiting patiently as we have worked to remedy this situation.

Thanks!
Blane

And for those you have bought the part through summit racing and then had it shipped internationally, to find out it wont fit?

Shoot me an email to the address that I just sent you in a message and I'll get you taken care of Rawkus16v.

I'll make it right regardless of the international deal.

Thanks.

Newbie here... Been lurking here for a quite while and finally decided to join in...

Anyways... found a place to buy those aluminum round bars. I downloaded the installation instructions for these mounts (S14) and it states

"...a cost-effective alternative to purchasing the above referenced engine mounts (Creative-Steel) is to use self-made solid mounts cut from 2.25”
round 6061-T6 aluminum bar stock. After cutting two 2.950” long pieces from the bar stock, center-drill and tap the ends of the pieces to
accept M12 or 7/16” SAE fine thread hardware"

this website, https://www.stainlesssupply.com/order-metal-online/docs/g3c1056s28ss0p241/6061-aluminum-round-bar.htm sells (2) 3" length round aluminum bar for $10.82. Not sure how much is shipping though

Hope this helps Wink

Is the GTO oil pan a possibility with the S13 specific kit?

A trial fitment of the GTO oil pan was not even attempted due to the almost identical nature of the chassis of the two platforms; it is very doubtful that it would fit.

I know that the pan will not fit without modification (notching and rewelding the factory crossmember. That is the only way that the GTO oil pan would fit.

I meant pan to steering rack interference. Of course the subframe will need to be notched.

Hey Brewster...we are in Bowling Green KY, so finding and borrowing an S13 isn't necessarily an easy task. As far as the S13 exhaust system goes, we'll probably wait and see what the response to the S14 system is once it's released to get a gage on the demand.

Todd

What? there are s13's everywhere around here. I would've happily let you borrow mine.
