ahhh! Ok, thanx for the pics man! yeah i'm going to try to get it back that 1/2" maybe, we'll see i'm slated to drop it in saturday, thank god for the 3 day weekend! Yeah i'll post up pics of my setup also, we're going to spin off of your design, hope you don't mind Very Happy

Not a problem at all, spin off all you like. Just glad I could help. I'll be posting a complete thread soon. Just really want to get the car finished first. There will be LOTS of pics. Smile

As far as that 1/2" goes, the only thing keeping me from going back any further is the oil pan. Since you're dry sump, I don't see that being a problem.

A couple more pics, but there aren't any updated ones....

Thanks guys.

It was a factory color in 96 - Mediterranean Blue. And, it was a zenki, but once the new Kouki front is painted, it'll be going on. Smile

yeah so i got the tranny on there for mock up, here's couple shots of it with the HSC headers on there. I also found that in order to clear my dry sump oil scavenge pump, i have to either run the mount to the back, as in the picture, or we're going to cut the tabs off and weld them back on in the middle of the bracket.... we're dropping it in the car tomorrow so i'll post more pics up again

till tomorrow......

alrighty, so it's in there, not 100% yet. I have found that the pan with the dry sump system, will interfere a bit with the steering rack a bit. I'm thinking i'm going to have to drop the crossmember down around and inch or more, and re-drill the a arm hole, so that none of my frontal arm telematry doesn't change. here's a couple shots of it in my shop, more to come!

tax return check came in, i'll be makin alot more progress haha!

I think the mounts are ok, they're actually pretty big in person, i'm going to try to get the tabs re welded to line the bottom parts up with the "hump" that the stock 240 mount sits on. i'll be postin a ton of pics when i get there, for now i'm going to have to create a block to drop my crossmember a little, i found out that the GTO pan is 2" deep at it's shortest, so i'm going to have to drop about 1 1/2" ~ 1 3/4" i think i can i have a mad-man plan mmmwwwhhaaaaaa

alrighty, here's a pic of the HSC radiator that came in today, and the shifter i found it's a GM factory shifter, but it's the Hurst short shifter edition. seems pretty tight.... going to drop the cross member tomorrow first thing. i'll HIGHLY document that! so stay tuned
